This is a living document to keep track of ways you can contribute to the recovery efforts for the countries and peoples affected by the tragedy that was Hurricane Melissa, as of writing, the strongest hurricane to ever make landfall in recorded history. It’s important for us to recognize that not only is Hurricane Melissa the strongest hurricane on record, it likely is setting a new precedent for the kinds of storms we in the Caribbean can expect to deal with in the coming years as a direct result of anthropogenic climate change. Is that scary? Yes. Fuck yes. But it’s real. It’s not fearmongering to follow the trends we’ve been seeing and expecting to see for the past several decades as primarily “first world” countries continue to burn fossil fuels at rates that are both utterly unnecessary and actively deadly.

So this page is for one thing and one thing only: Fun little sites I’ve stumbled across on the internet. It will be updated whenever I stumble across a new fun little site on the internet. I want to do this because we live in a time where so much of the internet exists solely for commerce and the exchange of money or accumulation of capital that it’s nice to remember that people are and always will be creative and share that creativity with the whole world.
