And this is how I disappear.

I’ve been in Cartagena, Colombia for the past few days and so far it’s been a great experience. I’ve been enjoying the food and my Spanish is improving very quickly. Unfortunately, yesterday I started coming down with something. After my classes classes, I went to the pharmacy, head a bit swimmy and not fully myself. I asked the pharmacist for something for a dry cough (I had medications for my other symptoms already) and when he put down the cough syrup in front of me, I didn’t look too hard at it, assuming that whatever he’d put in front of me would be sufficient for my symptoms, so I purchased it and went about the rest of my day.

So note from me in the future, so I wrote this on the date you see on the post, but I’m writing this a couple months later, just to say, I’m fine, don’t worry, I just feel like putting up the stuff I’ve written for the blog even when it’s not… like… pleasant to read because this is more for me than for you I guess, so yeah, I’m fine. Also any posts with the #vent tag are going to be something like this.

So it’s been a while 😅…

I am once again discovering that the correct amount of stress I am capable of handling is simply, “less”.
